Make time to see the mini- golf exhibit in Austin Texas before May 20. You’ll be glad you did. This exhibit is really fun; send information to a museum in your area because it should be on tour. Why not in your town. Nine Austin Artist put together entertaining, engaging holes; it is a great day for the whole family or a date.

Third Thursdays Open Late
The Blanton Museum is a dreamy space with a luscious blue tiled Atrium by Miami Artist Teresita Fernandez. That alone is worth the trip. It has one of the largest collections in Central Texas with years of art donated to and purchased by the University of Texas. One day my mother screamed at me, “People are starving in China; eat your food.” I felt so bad I cried huge wracking tears I was not hungry I could not help it. This is where I developed the good and bad habit of cleaning my plate. Hearing Sasha Gong talk about the Cultural Revolution made my mother’s tense anguished face appear. People were starving in China. People are straving today.
